Crane 11307-1 - Crane Cams CamPonent Kit
This valvetrain kit is intended to make life very easy for you when retro-fitting a pre-87 Chevy small blocks that was originally equipped hydraulic flat tappet camshaft to the newer style hydraulic roller camshaft. It has all the correct components needed to maintain proper valvetrain geometry and handle the increased RPM capabilities that roller cams provide.
This CamPonent Kit includes a complete set of hydraulic roller lifters, special length pushrods, valve springs, valve spring retainers, valve stem locks, valve stem seals, fuel pump pushrod, cam sprocket bolt locking plate kit, and needle bearing cam button spacer.

The latest in valve train technology for all street applications. Reduced operating friction plus the increased torque and horsepower of a roller cam. The best combination for street performance. Produces a broad power band and increased RPM potential with the low-maintenance of a hydraulic cam.
Absolutely the finest, most reliable hydraulic roller lifters available. Precision check ball internal valving prevents ''pump up''. Bodies are CNC-machined and assembled with Crane's exclusive anti-rotational guide bar design where applicable.
Pushrods 4130 Chrome Moly Seamless Steel Tubing, 7.046'' I/E Length, p/n 27011628-16
The ends are precision made, carburized, heat treated for strength and wear resistance and press fit into the tubing. Where indicated, Crane pushrods are also carbonitride heat treated to strengthen the tubing and harden it for use with or without pushrod guideplates. In these instances, the ends are spot welded into the tubing for maximum strength and reliability. Teflon valve stem seals provide maximum valve stem oil control. These seals wipe excess oil from the valve stem by means of a unique spring loaded wiper assembly, thus preventing unwanted oil from reaching and contaminating the cylinder. Machining usually required.
